Backford Belles Jersey Ice Cream Farm. THANK YOU We would like to thank everyone who came to our 4th charity scoop day - we have not yet had the final total confirmed but we know you helped us raise just over £250 for the MS Society - thank you. The MS Society will carry on being our charity for the year with any donations of change going to them. Success at National Awards We have just won 2 awards at the National Ice Cream Competition run by the ICA. We received a Diploma for our Eccles Cake and Whisky & Ginger flavours in the Open Flavour Class. Enjoy award winning Jersey ice cream on our traditional Cheshire Farm. | You are welcome for a tea, coffee or soft drinks with local homemade cakes indoors in our parlour.
You can also sit outside, with an ice cream, at the tables and chairs by our farm yard, enjoying the sunshine, watching the bunnies, calves, and other daily activities on our traditional working farm.
So if you are local, out for a drive, visiting Cheshire Oaks or Chester Zoo come and see us and relax on our farm for a while and enjoy our Backford Belles Jersey Ice cream. | | The real stars of the farm are our ‘Backford Belles’ – our herd of Jersey cows - which can often be seen grazing the fields close to the farm. They provide the creamy milk that makes our ice cream so rich and full of flavour. You really can taste the difference. |  | Our ice cream dream came true in June 2009 when we first opened our ice cream parlour on our farm. As you venture up our drive you will find our traditional sandstone buildings where we have created a small production room and an ice cream shop! We make all the ice cream ourselves. Having started with 10 flavours we are quickly expanding our range, it now includes family favourites like Indulgent Belgian Chocolate, Strawberry and Rum & Raisin, as well as our Snickie and Bethany’s Special. |
